S.G.N.S. became a Registered Charity in 1994, registration number 1055018 and over the years has developed and become an established organisation in the community it serves. Being located in Swarcliffe Community Centre, along with the Youth Service and other service providers the centre offers an excellent comprehensive community service to people from the local and wider community. Service provision of SGNS offers support, promotes social inclusion, provides information on healthy living and advice on health issues which can promote the independence of older people and their carers to live independently within the local community. Our aim is to provide services to meet the needs of everyone.
We are running the following on a weekly basis in the Swarcliffe Community Center:
Monday - Digital Drop-In
Tuesday - Line Dancing Class, Shopping Trip and Afternoon Tea Dance
Wednesday - Luncheon Club and Knitting Circle
Thursday - Luncheon Club
Friday - Luncheon Club

- Quiz Packs
- Home Movie Night
- IPad Loan Scheme
- Jigsaw
